Sweet EagleFiler Sleeper Feature

Just found this: if you drag a file from one library to another, the tags and other metadata are transferred with it. Tags, title, note—everything.

This is just too cool. This means that I can easily consolidate libraries because I won’t have to recreate all of the hard work I’ve done tagging up the files.

Thank you, Michael!

Just to be clear, there’s nothing special about dragging from one library window to another. EagleFiler will preserve the mdatadata any time you import a file that’s in another library, whether you drag from within EagleFiler, drag from the Finder, use the Import File(s) command, etc.

Even better, Michael! I am so thrilled that EagleFiler handles this so gracefully. It will save me a ton of time because I think I need to consolidate a bunch of libraries down into one.
